What happens during a worship service?
When we gather for worship, we primarily devote ourselves to a few simple things: singing, praying, reading the Bible, and observing the ordinances (baptism and the Lord’s Supper). We typically begin our service with a few songs, announcements, and a time of corporate prayer. Following these elements, a majority of the service is devoted to time for the sermon. We conclude our service by singing several more songs. On the last Sunday of every month, we participate together in observing the Lord’s Supper.
